GRASS CUTTING

Smart Cut Ltd have been cutting grass for over 30 years, so it’s fair to say we know a thing or two about caring for green spaces and lawns all year round.

Smart Cut’s highly skilled operatives are trained in using the latest grass maintenance equipment and the very best commercial mowers. No scale of work is too big or small, and our clients can be confident that we deliver the highest standard of work, paying particular attention to detail.

All site operatives are suitably trained, carry identification and wear clearly identifiable uniform. Read below for more in-depth information on our grass cutting services.

Cut and Collect

We offer all forms of cut and collect grass cutting services, whether this be pedestrian cylinder mowing into a box or flailing large areas of wild flower meadow removing cuttings from site.

We continue to invest in the most modern machinery, having recently purchased two state-of-the-art Gianni V50’s.

Cut and let fly

We undertake all forms of cut and let fly cutting, ranging from hand mowing, right through to large area flailing. We still retain machinery for cylinder mowing, roller mowing, rotary mowing, and flail mowing, although in recent times budgets and environmental policies have pushed towards slightly less frequent cuts meaning rotary and flail mowing has become more popular.

Strimming

No grass cutting job looks complete unless the edges are tidy and blown up. We therefore carry strimmers on our mowers, to ensure sites are fully strimmed and looking tidy before we leave.

Flailing

We regularly get asked to flail rough areas of grass and scrub, paths in wildflower areas and wild flower areas. We have therefore invested in a range of flail cutting machinery from pedestrian flail through to 3m large tractor flail and robot flail.

Robot Flail

Due to modern health and safety considerations many slopes are too dangerous and slippery to work on by hand. We have therefore invested in robot technology to flail banks and also clear small scrub areas on steep slopes.

We are not limited to the activities listed above. If additional works are required that have not been listed we are more than happy to discuss whether this is something we can do, please do not hesitate to contact us
